In this pivotal role, you will utilise your expertise in Internal Audit and Operational Risk to lead the establishment of a centralised control testing function. Your primary focus will be ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls through a systematic approach involving process mapping, control design evaluation, operating effectiveness assessments, and detailed reporting to stakeholders. You will oversee and manage a dynamic team of control testers, delivering quality assurance outcomes that support the organization's operations and risk management strategy.
- Qualified accountant or auditor with relevant certifications.
- Proven experience in internal audit and operational risk management.
- Demonstrated expertise in testing internal controls, particularly design and operating effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication abilities for articulating results and insights in team and stakeholder meetings.
- Adept at analysing complex processes and offering strategic improvements to control frameworks.
- Experience in a global business environment is advantageous.
