Events Executive

Be-Resourcing is recruiting an Events Executive on behalf of our client, a leading international law firm. In this dynamic role, you will play an integral part in delivering a wide range of high-quality events, from conferences and client seminars to networking receptions, parties, and other key initiatives that support our clients business goals. Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Events Co-Team Lead, you will work closely with the UK Events Managers, providing hands-on support across a variety of in-person events, with occasional involvement in virtual events.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering in-person events across our clients Scotland offices, including onsite support.
  • Handling event administration and ensuring accurate data and analysis are recorded in the CRM.
  • Managing Scotland’s events calendar end-to-end, collaborating with fee earners and Marketing/BD teams to deliver innovative event solutions.
  • Working with stakeholders to define event objectives and overseeing the full event lifecycle: planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, onsite/virtual management, and post-event analysis.
  • Communicating events effectively across the business to maximise collaboration opportunities.
  • Providing administrative support for both in-person and virtual events.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks as required.

 

About you:

  • Experience working in law or professional services (desirable), with a good understanding of the legal market and its terminology.
  • Proven experience managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, delivering all stages to a high standard, within budget, and handling competing deadlines and changing needs.
  • Strong project management and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to work effectively with and influence stakeholders across the business, understanding the wider business context and providing practical solutions.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data protection regulations relevant to events, along with working knowledge of CRM and eMarketing platforms.
  • Flexibility to accommodate events that may take place outside normal business hours.
  • A proactive mindset to identify improvements in event processes and supporting technologies.
