AML Analyst (legal)

Be-Resourcing is excited to partner with a reputable legal sector client seeking a dedicated AML Analyst to join their team on a 24-month legal fixed-term contract. Based in Sheffield, this role offers a hybrid working model, requiring staff to be in the office three days a week.

As part of the Ongoing Monitoring Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that client due diligence is maintained accurately, supporting the organisation’s AML and Counter Terrorist Financing commitments. Your responsibilities include assessing client risk profiles, liaising with partners on due diligence matters, conducting company and press searches, and assisting with AML administration and research projects. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with AML experience seeking to develop their career within a professional legal environment.

  • Educated to degree level and/or qualified in KYC/Compliance, with prior experience in a professional services setting
  • Knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and the EU's 5th Money Laundering Directive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with a practical approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Motivated team player with self-driven work ethic
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
