A leading global consultancy within the energy and natural resources sector is looking for an experienced Compliance Analyst to join its high-performing compliance team. This is an initial 9–12 month contract, based in Edinburgh on a hybrid working model. We are taking a market-led approach to rate and are open to discussing rates with suitable candidates.
About the Role
You will play a key role in screening, monitoring, and supporting compliance activities across multiple areas, including:
- Sanctions risk mitigation
- Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (AB&AC)
- AML and general compliance workflows
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting due diligence and screening of clients, vendors, and third parties
- Reviewing and resolving alerts, escalating cases where necessary
- Maintaining accurate compliance records and dashboards
- Supporting internal audits, investigations, and compliance inquiries
- Assisting with risk mitigation processes and policy implementation
About You
- 5–7 years’ experience in compliance, with strong knowledge of sanctions and AB&AC regulations (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, etc.)
- Skilled in due diligence, screening workflows, and compliance monitoring
- Proficient with tools such as Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, Factiva, or similar
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large datasets in Excel
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
