Customer Success Lead

Our client, a lieading provider of control and monitoring solutions, is looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts within the Retail Refrigeration and HVAC sectors. This is not a traditional account management role, it’s about driving adoption, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring customers achieve measurable outcomes from advanced control and monitoring solutions.

The ideal candidate for this role will be home-based covering South England (with occasional travel both nationally and across Europe) and will recieve a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus 20% bonus potential and benefits.

You’ll act as the trusted advisor for your customers, understanding their business priorities and aligning technology to deliver efficiency, sustainability, and operational improvements. This role combines relationship management, commercial growth, and technical engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop deep relationships with customers, understanding their goals and challenges.
  • Lead structured business reviews and create joint success plans tailored to each account.
  • Drive product adoption and identify opportunities for expansion across hardware, software, and connected platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - Sales, Engineering, Technical Support, and Marketing - to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Monitor account performance, forecast growth, and maintain accurate CRM data.
  • Represent the customer internally, ensuring feedback informs product development and service improvements.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Technical Sales in a B2B setting.
  • Knowledge of Retail Refrigeration or HVAC systems (or willingness to learn both).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative approach.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and managing multiple priorities independently.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with IoT, energy management, or control systems.
  • Familiarity with connected platforms and data-driven solutions.
